This tour is for public, private, & homeschool groups wanting to create a fun and educational field trip. This tour is open only during Summer (July-Aug). During July, the Blueberries are fruiting, and the Orchard is full of flowers abuzz with bees and other pollinators. We will tour one of the blueberry patches and wander thru the gardens. Students will learn what it takes to keep bluberries and the orchard healthy during the hot summer months and how important the pollinators are to everything that grows; followed by a craft/game activity. Refreshments provided. Be sure to reserve your date as soon as possible since the spaces are limited. Maximum size of group is 20 people, including adults. The tour can take 1-2 hours depending on group size. We try to plan when the fruit is at its peak, but each season is unique in its own schedule. Rain or shine, come prepared.
